Auditions for this year's MTS show, Anne of Green Gables will be held September 13th- 17th, 2010 after school, in the drama room. Audition packages will be available on the first day of classes. Sign up sheets will also be posted at that time. A pre audition meeting will be held during all lunches on Friday, September 10th in the drama room (rm. 135). Auditions will take place in stages: preliminaries (September 13th- 15th), call-backs (Sept. 16th) and dance auditions (Sept. 17th). Following the first three days of auditions a list will be posted of those who are to attend the call back auditions and or dance auditions. 

Auditioners will be required to sing exerpts of two songs, Ice Cream (everyone),Gee I'm Glad I'm No-one Else But Me (female) or Wondrin'  (male). Sheet music will be available as part of the audition package. Audio tracks for these excerpts (both with and without vocals) are available if you provide a cd or usb. All audition material must be memorized.

Avoid reading too much into how your audition is handled - we may know instantly that you will be appropriate for a certain role, so may not request anything further of you, or we may wish to hear how you handle a certain character, so may ask to read a portion of the script. The rehearsal schedule is as follows - be sure to let us know if you have conflicts which cannot be worked around for one of these times:
